CT4N replacement bus service updates

CT4N has ceased trading and is no longer operating bus services. East Midlands Combined County Authority (EMCCA) is working with alternative bus operators to replace services to minimise disruption for passengers.

This page will be updated as soon as further replacement services, start dates and timetable information are confirmed.

Confirmed replacement services

18, 18A, 18B and 18X Nottingham City Transport will replace the 18 service between Nottingham, QMC, Beeston Rylands, Beeston, Bramcote and Stapleford from Monday 17 August 2026. An hourly service on the core 18 route will operate for the first two weeks.

The full 18, 18A, 18B and 18X timetable is expected to start from Tuesday 1 September 2026.

29 – Service 29 will restart on Monday 24 August 2026, providing a scheduled bus link between Long Eaton and Sandiacre via New Sawley. Operated by Littles Travel, the service will run approximately hourly from 7am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday and 8.30am to 5.30 pm on Saturday, helping residents access local services, shops, education, work and onward travel connections.

66 – From Monday 24 August 2026, Kinchbus will operate the 66 service between the University of Nottingham Sutton Bonington campus and Loughborough. The service will operate during peak times only, replacing the previous all-day service which included off-peak journeys extending to Kegworth.

At other times, the West Rushcliffe Demand Responsive Transport service will continue to link Sutton Bonington to Hathern or Kegworth for onward connections.

510 – Service 510 will also restart as a scheduled bus service from Monday 24 August operated by Littles Travel, serving Beeston, Toton, Attenborough and Stapleford. The route will run approximately hourly from 6.45am to 5.45pm, Monday to Friday, and from 8.30am to 5.45pm on Saturdays, maintaining important local connections across the area.

511 – Service 511 will also restart as a scheduled Stapleford circular bus service from Monday 24 August operated by Littles Travel. Running approximately hourly from 9.45am to 3.45pm, Monday to Saturday, the service will provide local journeys within Stapleford and help residents reach nearby facilities and onward transport links.

Other affected services

Other affected services are currently being reviewed, and replacement arrangements are being progressed where possible.
