The East Midlands Combined County Authority (EMCCA) is joining forces with Constructing Excellence Midlands to accelerate the delivery of high-quality homes across the region.
The partnership will bring together the housing supply chain – including consultants, contractors, manufacturers, and other key stakeholders – in a quarterly forum to identify and unlock barriers to building homes.
The forum will focus on the challenges and opportunities highlighted by the East Midlands Inclusive Growth Commission (IGC) report. Through its year-long investigation into the region, the IGC underlined the need for more affordable, sustainable, and high-quality housing to help deliver inclusive economic growth in the region.
By working collaboratively, the group will develop practical solutions to speed up the building of homes across the East Midlands.
Through this partnership, EMCCA will work with a range of stakeholders to focus on issues in Building Safety, Climate Action, Future Skills, Smart Construction, and Social Value. This joined-up approach will allow EMCCA to feed regional priorities directly into discussions shaping the future of housing delivery.
Constructing Excellence Midlands will be hosting the Constructing Excellence East Midlands Summit in Nottingham on 13th November 2025, sponsored by the East Midlands Combined County Authority. This event will bring together industry leaders, innovators, and key stakeholders who will offer their insights to shape the sector’s future.
